2007-2008 Hunting Season
Come experience what upland hunting is all about. At Quail Ridge our unique habitat/population enhancement program helps insure a healthy, plentiful bird population throughout the season. Habitat doesn't get any better than this. Shooting over your dog or ours, you'll find hard flying Ringneck Pheasant, Chukar Partridge, and covey after covey of Bobwhite Quail.
From October 13th through March 15th, enjoy the finest wing shooting imaginable on the 1,000 plus acres of Quail Ridge Sportsman's Club. You'll hunt a wide range of terrain, all of it professionally managed to ensure a quality hunting experience.
Our hunters get into more birds in one day than most hunters see in an entire season. Morning, afternoon, or all-day hunts are available. All are fully guided by our experienced on-staff guides to ensure a safe, productive and pleasurable hunting experience for even the most experienced of hunters.
The public is always welcome...this season, we will be providing Upland Hunting Packages: a full weekday for $1155 per gun or 1/2 day for $600 per gun or a full weekend day for $1320 per gun or 1/2 weekend day for $675. These hunts include: guide, birds, bird processing, jeep, dog, and meals. (Licenses are available for purchase in the clubhouse.) You can purchase a packaged hunt, or you can customize your own. Unique to Quail Ridge is our Driven Continental Pheasant Shoots that actually use natural terrain (not towers) to provide high flying driven birds. These shoots simulate English driven-style pheasant hunts. Our pheasants come in waves and barrels are always smoking. We have attracted such notables as Mr. Kreighoff (Kreighoff International), and Dean Thompson (Royal Sporting/Gamebore), not to mention many other shooters that have gotten to experience driven hunts in Europe. These half-day shoots include 3 hours of non-stop shooting and are open to the public. We are now accepting reservations for this season. Each shoot is open to the first 30 shooters. Nonrefundable deposit is $50 per peg. The cost of this shoot is $350 per peg (1 or 2 shooters per peg) and includes breakfast and lunch (licenses are available for purchase in the clubhouse).

This is the time of year for the fast-flying, very sporting mourning dove. This migratory bird invades this area to offer some impressive wing shooting.
